Pretty much everything you could want. The crawfish cakes were amazing, great seasoning and spice. You probably want to get there early for lunch, line can get long and they can sell out of some menu options.

I can honestly say I travel this state and Ive had boudin from Houma, Morgan City, Lafayette and that whole area including Henderson, Krotz Springs to Opelousas and on to Lake Charles. Each boudin is unique in its own way and I can say this smoked boudin here is legitimate and can compete with any boudin in the state. The plate lunches are delicious, and the prices for a fact edge out and beat Billy's or Herberts on boudin per pound. Now in general the price of cracklins per pound is astronomical but if you want a treat, go for it. If you're reading this and truly understand what a good smoked boudin is like or cracklins or a pasta & sausage lunch.. Look no further, hats off to this hidden gem. I came here many years ago and recently rediscovered it and I'm glad I did.

First and foremost, there is nothing fancy about this place. However, that being said, there is almost always a line here. The floors are a bit greasy. It's counter service only. But..... The pork and chicken cracklins are delicious. I also ordered the shrimp po boy, and all I can say is "DAMN, that was one good sandwich. Friendly staff, great food! You can’t beat this place. Go try it for yourself, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Best boudin in the city. I’ve loved Ronnie’s since they were in the old location. I stop every time I’m in the area.

Went to Ronnie's Boudin & Craklin off Forida Blvd. for a little lunch with a coworker. I got 6 cheese stuffed boudin balls , and my friend got the Firiday fried catfish plate with fries. The Bballs were amazing as usual..My friend enjoyed his Cat plate also. When I go back I'm trying the chicken craklins, I hear they are great. It was 1230pm but we got our food quick and the service was great.

Great boudin and boudin balls. Not too spicy. I ordered a regular link of boudin. Not too many places in Baton Rouge that make their own boudin so I was happy to find one.

I got a smoked link of boudin, a boudin ball, and a fried turkey wing. I was impressed with the wing. Savory throughout and not dry on the inside at all. Bring a napkin. Hard to take a non phallic photo of the smoked boudin. I'll get some cracklin next time. They are always excellent!

I've been here a few times and haven't left disappointed or hungry. They have daily lunch specials and po-boys. Thursday is bbq Friday is fish. Both are really good. The lunches are served with 2 sides and rice dressing (boudin). Prices are reasonable and you get a good bit for the price. Today I got the pork steak, easily could make 2 meals out of it, for 8.50 plus drink. I definitely recommend Ronnies!
